Week 27 result

Mally wins with 21 points; David I cuts Ian Murray’s lead down to 2 points

In what turned out to be the highest scoring weekend of the season so far, Mally (21 points) held off a strong challenge from Dave Stephen (19 points).

Only a 1-1 draw (Dave’s prediction) could have stopped Mally from winning the whole pot, and a 2-2 draw was only enough to earn Dave 3 more points.

In the race for end-of-season champion, David Imlay has chopped Ian Murray’s lead down to 2 points. Mally has leap-frogged Fletch to hop into 3rd spot.

Mally continues to lead…

Only Dave Stephen is able to catch (share) him

Mally continues to lead the charge, moving on to 21 points after today’s 3 matches.

Only Dave Stephen can stop him from taking all the money , and that’s only if tomorrow night’s El Kessocko ends in a 1-1 draw.

Dave Imlay (18 points) is in 2nd-place, but cannot catch/overtake Mally as they both have the same 2-1 scoreline.

Dave S shares 3rd spot, along with GMac and Ian Baptie – neither of whom can catch our leader, as they both have plumped for the most-popular result – a home win!

Mally has a massive lead…

Fermer Imlay cuts Ian Murray’s lead to 2 points…

After correctly predicting the scores of three of the 4 matches today, Mally has a commanding 6 point lead over the Twa Daves (Imlay and Stephen)

4 more matches still to come, but it’s gonna take a titanic effort to overtake our former president.

Meanwhile, in the race for End-of-Season spoils, David Imlay has chipped another 5 points off of Ian Murray’s lead.

Both have EXACTLY THE SAME 4 SCORES for the remaining matches (ongoing investigation for collusion so Ian will only have a 2-point lead after this weekend (unless Mally &/or Fletch can do some more damage)

Week 26 Result

Adam Dewar cruises to victory

Nobody spotted West Ham taking anything off Liverpool, so nobody scores any points tonight.

In the end, Adam Dewar scored in each of the other 7 matches and won the money with 23 points.

Alfie finished 2nd, on 19 points with Robert, Eric, GMac, Stewart B and G-Pat sharing 5th place on 14 points

In the race for the end-of-season jackpot, David Imlay chopped another 2 points off Ian Murray’s lead and is now only 7 points behind the long-time leader.

Alfie is this week’s biggest climber, up 3 places to 12th spot. Daryll continues to plummet down the leaderboard after, yet again, failing to get any scores submitted.

Adam seals victory with a game to spare…

Adam correctly predicts results of all 7 matches so far…

With only 1 match remaining, nobody can catch Adam Dewar this week

Adam has scored an impressive 23 points from the 7 matches so far – predicting the result in each of the matches. If Liverpool can beat West Ham in tomorrow night’s match, Adam will be the first person to correctly predict the result of all eight matches!

Alfie is in a clear 2nd–place, 4 points behind Adam but also 5 points ahead of the chasing pack (none of whom can stop Alfie from finishing the weekend in 2nd place).

In the race for the End-of-Season title, David I has cut Ian Murray’s lead be another 2 points, but that will change if Liverpool win 2-1, or 3-1.

Week 26 – after Saturday’s matches…

Adam Dewar has a healthy 4-point lead

Adam Dewar, on 16 points, takes a healthy lead into tomorrow’s matches after correctly predicting the results of all 5 matches so far.

Adam has a 4-point lead over nearest challenger, Alfie , who scored a creditable 12 points.

Anne, Eric, Kevin and Dave I are a distant 3rd – each scoring 9 points.

Special mention to Dave Oversby who managed to get his scores in and he even predicted the score of last night’s Killie v Hearts match. Unfortunately, after checking time-stamps and time-zones, the Committee decided that Dave’s scores had been posted 12 hours AFTER the final whistle at Rugby Park – so no points there, Dave!!

Week 25 result…

Eric Barty wins the money; Dave Imlay cuts Ian Murray’s lead to only 9 points!

As expected, Eric Barty comfortably held off all challengers and actually increased the margin of victory by correctly predicting that Rangers would coast home 3-0 against Livingston.

Mally moved up a few places (into 2nd) by also predicting the Gers’ 3-0 win.

Kevin completed the Top 3 – finishing on 14 points.

In the race for the End-of-Season champion, Ian Murray had his first ‘bad’ week of the season, scoring only 6 points. Dave Imlay, his nearest challenger, scored an impressive 12 points and has cut Ian’s lead to a single-digit, 9 points.

There were no big climbers or fallers this week, with everybody either staying static, or climbing/falling one, or two places.

Week 25 – latest …

St Mirren 1 – 3 Hibs

Most people spotted the AWAY win for Hibs, so nothing much changed at the head of the leaderboard.

Eric Barty is now the strong favourite to win (or share) the money.

a 2-0 away for Rangers means that Eric shares spoils with Kevin;
a 1-1 draw means that Adam wins outright;
Any other score, means Eric wins

Here’s the Top 6 showing those who can still win, or share the money
