Week 5 Result…official…

OFFICIAL RESULT!!

In a low-scoring week, 3 people share the prizepot with 16 points – Daryll (2nd week in a row), Craig and Shug.

Dave Stephen (15 pts) climbs 6 places into joint-17th.

Brian ‘Barney’ Barnett (15 pts) jumps 4 places (9th to 5th) whilst Shug and Craig also benefited, both climbing 4 places to share 10th spot.

Biggest faller this week was Loraine (4 pts), dropping 6 places to 20th. Fletch (4 pts) also suffered, falling out of the top-10, from 9th to 13th.

Incredibly, Ian Murray (14 pts) remains perched atop the Overall Leaderboard (4th week in a row) with an impressive 69 points.

Daryll (+2) is now his nearest challenger on 67, whilst David Imlay (11 pts) drops 1 place to complete the Top 3 places.

Week 4 (Official Result)…

…nothing much changed after yesterday’s Old Firm derby. NOBODY predicted Celtic’s 1-0 win, although 12 people gained 2 points for spotting the HOME WIN.

So, this week there are JOINT-WINNERS (with a record-equalling 18 points) – Daryll ‘Picasso’ Spark and David Imlay (“wot? no nickname?” Ed)

Mister Consistency, Ian Murray remains rooted to the top of the Leaderboard (for the 3rd week in a row) and he now has 55 points.

David I climbed 3 places to 2nd, Adam remains in 3rd whilst Daryll leapt 6 places to join Dave O in 4th place.

Biggest Flop this week was Wattie, who plunged 6 places (after dropping 9 places last week). Doc Portaloo dropped 5 places (from 2nd to 7th)

Congrats to Daryll and David (for the win) and to Ian M (for remaining at the top of the leaderboard for another week)

Week 4 Standings – after 7 games

UPDATE (after 7 games on Saturday)….

Daryll and David Imlay share top-spot with 16 points after Saturday’s 7 matches.

Dave O and Ian Murray are close behind in joint-3rd with 13 points.

Adam, Becky, Fletch are next with 11 points.

Much depends on the Celtic – Rangers result tomorrow with Daryll hoping to avoid a 2-1 Celtic win (in which David I will win the money) or a 1-1 draw (in which case Ian M will win).

Fletch will share the pot with Daryll and David if tomorrow’s Old Firm match ends as a 2-2 draw.

3-1 to Celtic and Daryll will win outright.

ANY other score will see Daryll & David share the money!week 04 predictions after 7 games

Celtic host Rangers at 12 noon on Sunday.

Updates may be few and far between as I am out bowling all day (hopefully) tomorrow, and then again on Sunday.

Good luck to all (GP)week 04 predictions

Week 3 – Official Result

OFFICIAL RESULT (WEEK 3)

It’s official! Adam Dewar wins this week’s sweep with 17 points after Spurs drubbed Man Utd by 3 goals to nil.

Stewart Bell was 2nd with 15 points and Graeme P, Dave O and Kevin S shared 3rd spot with 14 points each.

Ian Murray remains at the top of the Overall Leaderboard with an impressive 42 points. Graeme Patullo (41), AdamD (40) and KevinS (40) complete the top 3.

Stewart Bell jumped 7 places (to 5th equal) as did Becky (from 18th to 11th equal) and Eck Henderson (22nd to 15th)

Two players leapt 6 places – Dave Oversby (11th to 5th equal) and Craig Middleton (23rd to 17th).

Top of the Flops this week was George ‘GMac’ McIntosh who plummeted 10 places (from 5th to 15th equal) after scoring only 2 points.

Ian Baptie (2 pts) dropped 6 places (19th to 25th), as did Anne Thom (5th to 11th equal) and Wattie (8th to 14th), both of whom scored 4 points.

Week 3 scores after 7 matches…

UPDATE (after Sunday)…

Stewart Bell benefited most from Celtic’s 1-0 win v Hamilton.

Stewart & Adam share top-spot with 15 points; Kevin and DaveO are 1 point further behind with 14; John Fletcher is next with 13 points.

7 people can still win, or share the money. Here are the possibilities and that person’s prediction for Man U v Spurs…

15 points – Stewart (0-0) and Adam (1-2)
14 points – Kevin (1-1) and Dave O (1-1) (Kevin & Dave would therefore SHARE the money)
13 points – Fletch (3-2)
12 points – GraemeP (0-1) – so would SHARE with Adam
12 points – Eck Henderson (2-0) would win outright

12 points – Becky (3-3) cannot win as any draw would increase Stewart’s points by 3 (to 18).

Everyone/anyone can still gain valuable points for the end-of-season prize as there is a huge variety of scores for tomorrow night’s game.

As usual, good luck to all

Week 3 after 7.jpg

26 sets of predictions for Week 3 (as of 10pm Friday)….

26 sets of scores submitted so far.

Summary (sort of)…

All 26 pick Celtic to win (most predicted result).  25 pick Man City (only Dave Stephen bucks the trend with a 1-0 Wolves win).

In the hotly-contested Tayside derby, most (18) plump for a Saints’ win (Jordan going out on a limb by picking Dundee to win by the not unconvincing score of 5 goals to nil!).

Hibs v Aberdeen seems to be the toughest to predict (6 homes; 6 aways and 14 draws (9 x 1-1; 4 x 2-2; 1 x 0-0))

Here are all the predictions (so far)…

Good luck, all
