Week 16 – Result

DAVE STEPHEN wins the money in a low-scoring week, with an impressive 17 points.

Most of the points scored this week came from 3 matches (Celtic, Rangers & St Johnstone)

3 matches resulted in NOBODY scoring any points; another match saw only ONE person scoring (Dave S) any points and the another saw only 5 people spotting Spurs’ victory over Chelsea.

The top 3 on the leaderboard remain as they were last week – Ian Murray (205), Dave I (188) and Fletch (183), but GraemeP moves up two places into 4th

Dave S and Eric B climbed the most this week – both up 3 places, whilst Daryll and Wattie fell furthest (down 3 places)

Week 15 – RESULTS…

“Only an idiot would predict a 3-2 win for Scotland” they said, and only an idiot DID predict THAT score.

Sadly, it was all academic as Ian Baptie comfortably held on to his one-point lead to scoop this weekend’s prizepot, scoring 15 points in the process.

Dave Imlay finished in 2nd-place, 1 point behind (on 14) and Brian “Barney” Barnet completed the top 3 places, finishing on 13 points.

Ian Murray continues to sit atop the leaderboard (198 pts), but Dave Imlay (181 pts) has closed the gap to a more-manageable 17 points.

Fletch remains in 3rd-spot, a further 7 points behind (on 174 pts).

Ian B, Brian and Mally are the biggest climbers, all moving up 2 places from their respective positions on last week’s leaderboard.

Kevin and Adam are the biggest losers this week, both scoring 4 points and both dropping 3 places, to 8th and 10th respectively.

Week 15 Update

With one match remaining Ian Baptie continues to lead the pack (13 points).

Dave Imlay and GMac complete the top 3.

5 people can still win the money – Ian, Dave (needs 1-0 home win), GMac (any away win), Fletch and Alfie (only if tonight’s match ends 1-1).  ANY other score and Ian wins the pot

Week 15 – Update after 6 matches

11 people still in with a chance to win some money

Ian Baptie continues to lead at the top of the leaderboard with 13 points.

Dave Imlay is in second place, with 12 points

Barney is 3rd with 11 points and Craig M is a further point adrift, on 10

Only Barney, amongst the leaders, cannot win the money (both his predictions match Dave’s) and there are a total of eleven people who can still win, including Wattie (in equal-15th position) who can still claim a share of the money.

Next match is tomorrow (Monday) when Germany host the unpredictable Netherlands (vital for Wattie’s chances)

Week 14 – Result

Man City’s 86th-minute goal ensured that this week’s prize-money will be shared between John ‘Fletch’ Fletcher and Kevin S – relegating long-time leader (well, ‘leader’ for a whole 28 minutes), Dave I into 4th-place this week.

Unsurprisingly, Ian Murray continues at the top of the leaderboard (13 weeks in a row

Biggest Climbers: Fletch (+4); Kevin and Wattie (+3)
Biggest Faller: Mally (-4)

Ian Murray extends his lead to a massive 21 points after several of his main challengers fell away this week

Mally leaps 2 places, into joint-2nd, with Dave I and Adam jumps the most (up 5 places) into 5th spot.

No big ‘fallers’ this week, although Barney drops 3 places to 8th

Week 12 Result…

Mally McNaughton held on to his overnight lead after Spurs and Man City fought out a tame 1-0 win for the visitors – a scoreline which NOBODY predicted.

Ian Murray continues to top the leaderboard, scoring another impressive 15 points this week, although he’ll be kicking himself slightly after CHANGING his prediction of Aberdeen to beat the Gers 1-0, to a Rangers 2-1 win. 5 points ‘lost’, the difference between winning the money and ‘losing’ it. Tough luck, Ian!

Ian’s two nearest challenger’s, Dave I and Daryll dropped a few points, both scoring ‘only’ 12.

Mally climbs most (up 4 places to 4th) and Iain Baptie continues to climb the leaderboard (up 3 places to 14th), after scoring 15 points this week
