Betting scam uncovered in the Carse?

“We have been contacted by the Glen Arse Gazette for comments about an article they are running in tomorrow’s paper.  Please remember than these are only allegations and that nothing has been proved.

“We, of course, strongly refute these allegations and intend to continue running the scam sweep for the foreseeable future.

Thank you, in advance, for your continued support

Week 01 Result….

Apologies for the delay in publishing the Week 01 winner.  Sadly, the Gambling Commission, The National Fraud Squad and Police Scotland have all been investigating a potential betting scam.  In the end, they are all happy that they can find NO EVIDENCE of any jiggery-pokery.

We are therefore delighted to announce that GRAEME PORTALOO has scooped the £27 after amassing 17 points, pipping Ian Murray (16) by 1 point and Rab Smith (15 points).

“Disco” and Portaloo share the lead at halfway stage of 1st weekend…

Dave Oversby and Graeme Portaloo share the lead after the 4 Saturday matches.  Both picked Aberdeen’s 1-0 win at lowly Dundee and they both picked out the Livvy v Killie draw (although not the nil-nil scoreline).

Fletch and Stewart B are hot on the leaders’ heels with 5 points.  Adam and Rab complete the Top 6.

Only Adam Dewar picked out the Jambos to beat the reigning champions and nobody caught Hamilton’s shock 1-0 win at Motherwell.
