Week 11 Result (Official)
Wow…what an ending to the weekend’s matches. Ultimately, Dave I and Craig shared the spoils with 18 points each but it was so nearly not the case…
Ian Baptie was outright winner when the Gers scored in the 87th minute (making it 1-3). Ian led all the way until the 94th minute when ‘El Bufalo’ Alfredo Morelos scored Rangers’ 4th goal
Dave O was ONLY person to spot the 4-1 scoreline, leaping 6 places up the table with that one result alone!
Jordan escaped the ignomy of joining Chic Chalmers in the Noughties group by spotting the Gers win.
Ian Murray remains at the top (10 weeks in a row) but his lead has been halved to 8 points after Dave I scored an impressive 18 points
Craig (up 4 places) and Loraine (up 3 places) are this week’s “biggest climbers”. Mystery Man, Shug S, falls furthest (down 4 places) after only scoring 8 points.
Jordan is leap-frogged by Robert P, and moves to the bottom of the table (of the ‘regulars’)

Week 10 Result
Week 10 – Result
Apologies for the lack of updates over the weekend.
THIS WEEK’S WINNER IS MALLY!!
A late Monday-night surge by El Presidente saw Mally catch, then overtake long-time leader, John Fletcher
His 19 points is a record-breaking score.
John Fletcher (17 pts) was 2nd and Ian Murray (15 pts) climbed to 3rd (after scoring two 5-pointers on Monday)
Ian Murray (unsurprisingly) extends his lead at the top of the leaderboard, climbing to 134 points – 16 points ahead of his nearest challengers, Daryll ‘Picasso’ Spark and Ian ‘The Fermer’ Imlay
Fletch and Mally are the biggest climbers this week (both up 4 places), whilst Alfie leaps 3 places (to 14th)
Adam Dewar suffered the most, dropping 4 places to 8th

Week 9 RESULT
IT’S A FOUR-WAY TIE THIS WEEK
Yet again, Match 8 of the weekend was pivotal. Nobody predicted nil-nil (Liverpool – Man City) but 3 of our joint-winners thought the result would be a draw.
Long-time leader, Eric Barty shares the ‘pot’ with Adam Dewar, George ‘GMac’ McIntosh and Robert Pitkethly – all scoring a record-equalling 18 points.
Ian Murray remains at the top of the charts (119 points), but Daryll (112 pts) has closed the gap at the top, by two points. Dave “The Fermer” moves back into 3rd place (107 pts).
Special mention this week goes to Jordan Baptie who, for the first time in his life, OVER-ESTIMATED St Johnstone’s goal-scoring ability. Jordan, by predicting that St Johnstone WOULD score a goal, whilst leaking 6 of their own, was thwarted when his “favourites” failed to breach the Hoops’ backline.

Week 8 Result (official)…
Yesterday’s shock win for Livingston didn’t affect the leaderboard at all. As a result, Ian Murray, Daryll and Ian Baptie shared the prize-money with the lowest winning score so far (14 points).
Ian M increased his lead at the top to 9 points – and has topped the leaderboard since Week 2. Daryll is now his closest challenger (leapt 2 places) and Brian/Barney drops one place to 3rd.
Biggest climbers this week are Ian Baptie (up 4 places (to 17th)) and Alfie (up 3 places (to share 18th spot)).
Biggest fallers were Eck H (down 5 (to 23rd)) and Loraine (down 3 (to 22nd))
‘Newbie’, Chic Chalmers is the first player to score ZERO points.

Week 8 predictions
26 sets of scores submitted this weekend. We welcome ‘newbie’ Chic Chalmers to our fold.
Here are the predictions…
Week 7 Result…
CRAIG MIDDLETON is this week’s outright winner, with 17 points. He was one of only two tipsters to predict the continuation of Celtic’s fall from grace (the other was Alfie).
Fletch and Mally were the biggest casualties of Craig’s stunning Sunday, being pipped with Arsenal’s incredible 2-0 win over Everton.
The Top 3 in the Overall Leaderboard remain the same, with IAN MURRAY continuing to lead the pack, moving on to 92 points.
Craig, unsurprisingly, climbs the most this week, leaping 5 places into 8th spot. Dave Oversby falls furthest, dropping 4 places out of the Top 10 (into 11th place).

Week 7 – Let The Games Begin…
25 sets of scores again this week…
…Good luck to everyone

Week 6 (Official Result)
In a low-scoring week, Brian ‘Barney’ Barnett and John ‘Fletch’ Fletcher shared top-spot, both scoring 16 points.
Ian Murray (82 points) continues at the top of the Overall Leaderboard (5-weeks-in-a-row), extending his lead to 6 points over newly-promoted, Barney (76 points).
Dave the Fermer completes the Top 3, a further 2 points behind, with 74 points.
BIG CLIMBERS & FALLERS:
Fletch leapt highest, jumping 5 places into 8th place. Barney moves from 5th to 2nd and Becky edges into the Top 10 (in 9th place), moving up 3 places after scoring an impressive 14 points this week.
Stewart Bell falls furthest, dropping 5 places, from 9th to 14th whilst Disco, Kevin and Craig all fall 3 places to 7th, 10th and 13th respectively

New Prize-pot and Week 6 predictions…
Prizepot Change:
It has been decided, in order to make the arithmetic easier, to award 80% of the weekly monies to the Weekly Winner. The remaining 20% will go into the End-of-Season prize pot. Currently, we have 25 ‘regular’ players which equates to a Weekly Prize of £30, with the remainder (£7.50) going to E-o-S prize.
WEEK 6 PREDICTIONS:
Again, we have 25 entrants (so £30 prize). I will TRY to keep you updated as the weekend progresses.
First match is tonight (Fri) when St Mirren host Celtic. 22 people have plumped for an away win for The Hoops, 1 person favours the draw and 2 plucky players think that The Buddies will triumph.
Here are all the predictions…
